Mt Moran in Grand Teton National Park was completely shrouded in a haze of wildfire smoke from neighboring states. The smoke was so dense that the presence of nearby mountains was almost indiscernible. However, during our drive back from dinner one evening, we encountered an unexpected delight. As the sun was setting behind Mt Moran, it's silhouette came into view bathed in rich pink and orange hues. a comforting reminder that amidst adverse conditions, pure beauty can still emerge.

Residing in the picturesque Lakes Region of New Hampshire, Sharon Seaward is a dedicated fine art photographer.
